Getting Started
How do I create an account?
Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner and fill in your information. You'll need to provide an email address and create a password. After signing up, check your email for a confirmation link.
How do I find events near me?
Visit the Events page and use the location filter to search by ZIP code or city. You can also filter by date, distance, and other criteria to find the perfect event for you.
Can I save my favorite locations?
Yes! Go to your Profile and navigate to the Locations tab. You can save multiple locations (like home and work) to quickly find events near you. Premium users can save up to 20 locations.
Events
How do I create an event?
Click "Create Event" from the Events page or your dashboard. Fill in the event details including title, date, time, location, and description. You can make events public or private, and choose whether to require approval for RSVPs.
How do I RSVP to an event?
Click on any event to view its details, then click the "RSVP" button. You can indicate whether you're attending, maybe attending, or not attending. Event organizers will be notified of your response.
Can I edit or cancel an event after creating it?
Yes! As the event organizer, you can edit event details at any time. If you need to cancel an event, go to the event page and select "Cancel Event." All attendees will be notified of the cancellation.
What's the difference between public and private events?
Public events are visible to everyone and can be discovered by anyone browsing the site. Private events are only visible to invited members and require an invitation link or group membership to RSVP.
Groups
How do I join a group?
Browse Groups to find communities that interest you. Click "Join Group" on any public group to become a member. Some groups may require approval from the organizer.
How do I create a group?
Click "Create Group" from the Groups page. Provide a name, description, and location for your group. You can make groups public or private, and customize member permissions.
What can group organizers do?
Group organizers can create events for the group, manage member requests, designate co-organizers, and moderate group content. They can also set group rules and manage group settings.
How do I leave a group?
Go to the group page and click "Leave Group." You'll stop receiving notifications about the group's events and activities. You can rejoin at any time if the group is public.
